This is a 7 day (6 nights on the river) guided river float trip using 16 ft catarafts. We will cover approximately 45 miles of river camping enroute.

Famous for it's rainbows, the Alagnak also plays host to all five species of salmon that begin entering the system in June. Grayling and Dolly Varden or Arctic Char are also prevalent.

Smolt patterns, string leeches, streamers and mice imitations give way to globugs and beads as the "egg drop season" begins in August. Recognizing that winter is just around the corner, the rainbows gorge themselves on salmon spawn, often adding several pounds to their already robust frame.
"Exciting" and "steady" are just a couple of the words describing the action.
